At InsureLine we know the #1 thing you care about is your premium.
It can be a scary number. We get it. InsureLine provides insurance at reasonable rates, even for teen or at-risk drivers. That way you know you’re covered, letting you drive with confidence.

Drivers in BC deal with ICBC, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have their own provincial systems, while drivers in Alberta, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces work through private insurers.
Knowing what's required in your province and what gaps your mandatory coverage might leave is exactly where an InsureLine broker adds value. We know the rules where you live, and we'll make sure your policy reflects them. So give us a call and we’ll begin your auto policy discussion today!

Auto insurance isn't one-size-fits-all.
Factors like your vehicle’s age, past claims, convictions, and all licensed drivers in your home affect your coverage and cost.
And like buying a car, the cheapest option isn’t always the best.
Our goal is to find you the right coverage at the best price—so you're protected when it matters most.
A few Quick Tips:
Collision coverage is a major cost. If you drive an older vehicle, it might not be worth it.
Talk to your InsureLine advisor to tailor your insurance—because expert advice makes a difference! We're 100% Canadian. We’re local. And we've got you covered.

When you go directly to an insurance company, you're choosing from whatever that one company offers. When you work with an InsureLine broker, you get access to policies from a wide range of Canada's leading insurers, compared and matched to your specific situation.
Our brokers aren't tied to any single insurer's products or quotas. Their job is to find the right coverage for you, at the most competitive rate available. And if you ever need to make a claim, you'll have someone in your corner who knows the process and can help you navigate it. NOT a call centre rep reading from a script. Or a robot with pre-programmed answers.
Whether you're a new driver just getting your licence, a teen driver being added to a family policy, or someone dealing with past convictions or claims, finding affordable coverage can feel like an uphill battle (well, it does with the other guys, not us naturally!).
InsureLine works with a wide range of insurance providers, which means we have more options to find coverage that fits your situation at a rate that's actually reasonable. Our brokers won't judge your history. They'll work with you to find the right coverage at the right price.

Electric vehicles have unique coverage considerations that a standard auto policy doesn't always account for out of the box. Battery replacement, charging equipment, and the higher repair costs associated with EV technology are all worth factoring into your coverage.
As more Canadians make the switch to electric, InsureLine’s brokers are up to speed on what EV owners actually need from their policy, so you’re not left with coverage gaps just because your car charges instead of fills up.
Auto insurance in Canada is different in each province. But it is mostly made up of mandatory coverage you’re required by law to carry, along with optional coverage you can add based on your needs and budget.
Third-party liability. This is the foundation of every auto policy in Canada. If you cause an accident that injures someone or damages their property, liability coverage protects you from the financial and legal consequences. Most provinces require a minimum of $200,000, though most drivers opt for significantly more.
Accident benefits. Covers medical expenses, rehabilitation, and lost income if you're injured in an accident; regardless of who was at fault. Requirements and limits vary by province.
Collision. Covers the cost of repairing or replacing your vehicle after a collision with another vehicle or object, regardless of fault.
Comprehensive. Protects your vehicle against damage that isn't the result of a collision. Things like theft, vandalism, fire, hail, and other weather-related damage.
Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. If you're hit by a driver who has no insurance or not enough to cover your losses, this coverage makes sure you're not left paying for someone else's mistake. (which would suck big time, guys. So don’t end up in this situation, please.)
