By using or accessing the InsureLine intranet, email, website, or online systems, you agree to the following statements:
- Account Safety
- You will not send or make unsolicited (spam, no opt-in) communications to users;
- You will not collect any data, information, or other material associated with InsureLine or its systems by using automated means (i.e.: macros, harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers) without our permission;
- You will not upload viruses or other malicious code;
- You will not attempt to acquire login information or access an account belonging to another individual or corporation;
- You will not post content (including images, slogans, symbols) that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or contains nudity, graphic violence, or alcohol-related content;
- You will not develop or operate a third party application or any kind of application that attempts to operate or integrate with the InsureLine intranet, websites, or other online systems;
- You will not use the InsureLine intranet or online systems to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory; and
- You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Statement.
- Personal Data and Account Security
- You will not provide any false personal information on the InsureLine intranet, website, or other online system, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without written consent from InsureLine;
- You will keep your InsureLine related contact information accurate and up-to-date; and
- You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything that might jeopardize the security of your account.
- Protecting Users & Clients
- You will not post content or take any action on InsureLine’s systems that infringe upon someone else’s rights or otherwise violates any applicable law;
- You agree and permit InsureLine to remove any content you post on InsureLine systems if InsureLine believes that such content violates this Statement;
- You acknowledge that if you repeatedly infringe other people’s intellectual property rights, InsureLine will disable your account when appropriate and you further agree to indemnify InsureLine against any legal action such other party may take as a result of such infringement;
- If you collect information from users, you will: obtain their consent; make it clear you (and not InsureLine) are the one collecting their information; and post a privacy policy immediately and easily accessible by the public explaining what information you collect and how you will use it; and
- You will not post anyone’s identification documents or sensitive financial information on InsureLine systems.
- Amendments
- You agree and acknowledge that InsureLine can change this Statement at any time without notice.
- Online Account Termination
- If you violate the Statement or spirit of this Statement, or otherwise create possible legal exposure for InsureLine through the use of InsureLine online systems, InsureLine can stop providing all or part of InsureLine online system access to you. InsureLine will generally try to notify you, but have no obligation to do so.
- Definitions
- By “Online Systems” or “Systems” we mean the features and services InsureLine makes available, including through our intranet website at www.insurelineintranet.com and any other InsureLine branded or co-branded websites (including sub-domains, international versions, broker/agent/office/associate websites); our Platform; and other media, devices or networks now existing or later developed;
- By “InsureLine”, “us”, “we”, and “our” we mean InsureLine Brokers Inc. and/or InsureLine Marketing Systems Inc. and/or its affiliates;
- By “content” we mean the content and information you post on your website, personal profile, advertisements, templates provided by InsureLine, including information about you and the actions you take;
- By “post” we mean post or upload to InsureLine Online Systems;
- By “use” we mean use, copy, publicly perform or display, distribute, modify, translate, and create derivative works of.
